Releasing LedaFlow 2.11

Kongsberg Digital is excited to announce the latest commercial release of LedaFlow, with new capabilities in modelling of CO₂ flow with impurities, LedaFlow represents some of Kongsberg Digital’s deep domain expertise and substance our customers have come to expect over the years.

Following up the LedaFlow 2.10 release which afforded significant enhancements to CO₂ modelling capabilities, including integrating LedaFlow with reservoir simulation (CMG Gem), the latest release follows up our promise and ambition to be at the forefront of developing solutions for #netzero‍

What is new?

LedaFlow Engineering v2.11 includes several great improvements. Here are some highlights:

• A new model has been developed for CO₂ with impurities and its narrow phase envelope:
  Inside the phase envelope, mass transfer is solved based on diffusion (similar to regular composition tracking), while outside the phase envelope the phase change model (released in v2.10) is used. This gives consistent results for both dilute and almost pure systems, compared to composition tracking and single components respectively.
• Consistency between the Steady-State Pre-Processor and the dynamic model has been improved when modelling pure CO₂.
• In addition, LedaFlow now includes a Python interface for the LedaFlow Point Model.
