Kongsberg Digital signs enterprise agreement to deploy AI-powered digital twin technology for Vår Energi’s NCS assets

Kongsberg Digital today announced the signing of a multi-year Enterprise Agreement (EA) with Vår Energi to deploy its flagship Industrial Work Surface digital twin solution, Kognitwin®, across all four of the customer’s assets on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) in 2026.

Vår Energi ASA, is one of Norway’s leading independent upstream oil and gas companies and continues to advance its digital ambitions through this strengthened partnership. The collaboration will target the optimisation of day-to-day operations by delivering proactive and predictive support functions, in addition to leveraging agentic AI and copilot capabilities to plan, schedule and execute end-to-end maintenance workflows.

The agreement also includes ongoing enhancement services throughout the contract term, ensuring the solution evolves alongside the organisation’s operational, sustainability and digital transformation goals.
