The digital learning and human capital management software specialist, Mintra. The contract enables KDI to provide Mintra with its state-of-the-art K-Sim Connect simulations as cloud-based subscription applications for use with the Trainingportal. This is Mintra’s learning and competency management system which delivers eLearning to workers in safety-critical industries including maritime and energy.

Kongsberg Digital (KDI) is pleased to announce a signed partnership agreement with the Northeast Maritime Institute (NMI) based in Massachusetts USA. This is the first partner agreement signed with a maritime eLearning provider and includes the delivery of a range of K-Sim cloud-based simulation applications for NMI global online students.

Together with Computer Modelling Group (CMG), Kongsberg Digital have received funding from the CLIMIT-Demo Program to further develop leading simulation software for CO2 injection into depleted oil and gas reservoirs and saline aquifers. This funding is in addition to that already secured by a number of Energy Operators. 

Kongsberg Digital (KDI) has signed a contract to deliver an extensive suite of advanced and multipurpose simulation solutions to the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport Branch in Sharjah (AASTS), United Arab Emirates. The state-of-the-art simulators enable highly realistic training scenarios for different vessel types in various operations and weather conditions, and will be used in training and assessment of the Academy’s students as well as crew from government and private organizations.

Kongsberg Digital (KDI) has just been awarded a significant contract to provide the University of Cebu, Philippines with K-Sim Engine cloud-based simulation solution for its marine engineering faculty. The generous scope of delivery comprises in total 185 K-Sim Engine eLearning licenses, accompanied with instructor training capabilities. Certified according to DNV’s new class D standard and available via KDI’s digital platform, K-Sim Connect, the eLearning solution enables students at home to run online simulation exercises with the same engine models as the K-Sim Engine simulator systems already installed on the University’s METC and Lapu-lapu Mandaue campuses.

Kongsberg Digital (KDI) is pleased to announce that its already well-established LTSSP (Long Term System Support Program) contract with the Evergreen Marine Corporation has been renewed for another 10 years.
